Internship (m/f/d) - Investment Management - Renewable Energy (September 2026)

YOUR MISSION

This internship offers a unique opportunity to take part in the expansion of Prime Capital Infrastructure investment activities, with a geographical focus on Europe and especially on the Nordics. During the internship, you will be considered as a full team member alongside our investment Analysts, Associates and Directors, and get exposure to the highly interesting industry of Renewable Energy Investments and emerging green technologies. Being part of the Infrastructure Private Equity team will require from you to be autonomous, innovative and a quick learner. Sharing the values underpinning the industry, i.e. a sensitivity for environmental and ecological issues, is an advantage to perform your tasks.

Joining the team will give you a robust skillset to structure and analyse in-depth financial models related to green energy, supporting senior management on debt structuring, project financing and transaction management. Responsibilities of the team also include origination and execution of new transactions, management of assets in portfolio and fundraising support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analysis of markets and potential investment targets
  • Active involvement in the transaction to acquire assets
  • Support of due diligence processes
  • Development of financial models
  • Assistance with the management of existing portfolio companies
  • Preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external use

YOUR PROFILE

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program or a Master’s degree program at European business school or university
  • Relevant prior internship in related fields is essential (e.g. M&A, strategy consulting, leveraged finance, private equity, infrastructure, or transaction services at a leading auditing company)
  • Proactive style and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • English working proficiency and fluency in another European language is compulsory, knowledge of a Nordic language is a plus
  • Good modelling and analytical skills
  • Fluency with basic Corporate Finance principles
  • Capacity to complete complex tasks independently
  • Strong team player with willingness to work in a very international environment
  • Understanding of the Renewable Energy industry is a plus
